On the 12th and 13th of November, the 2M Group of Companies exhibited at SCS Formulate, the UK’s largest personal care and cosmetics exhibition.
Our teams from Surfachem and Crafted both exhibited at the event, which brought together professionals and brands from across the industry to connect, share expertise, and explore the latest innovations in personal care.
Surfachem
As one of SCS Formulate’s founding exhibitors, Surfachem welcomed a wide range of visitors to its exhibition stand to discuss emerging trends and the latest ingredient innovations.
Knowledge-sharing was at the heart of Surfachem’s presence at the show.
- Inspire Presentation: Abbie Charles and Charlie Munday captivated a capacity audience with insights into cost-efficient formulations, addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by the current economic climate.
- Sensory Workshop: Ella Kerry and Edna Sulejmanović led an engaging session at the sensory bar, delving into the science of sensory perception and its role in the perceived value of personal care products.

Throughout the event Surfachem’s stand stood out with the vibrant support of four of our key partners: Evonik, Sensient, Stepan, and Jungbunzlauer. Each partner hosted a dedicated booth, showcasing the strength of our partnerships and highlighting the innovative solutions we deliver together.
Crafted
Crafted experienced a fantastic amount of interest over the 2 days at SCS Formulate. Bringing their expertise to the stand were our Laboratory Technicians, informing and educating prospective customers on our innovation formulations, alongside the sales and technical team talking prospective clients through the Crafted process.
The event was ideal for networking and holding meetings with current and prospective clients, and provided the ideal platform to showcase our services, engage with the wider community and stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
