The 2M Group of Companies was proud to host its 2025 Kids’ Science Day at our UK Head Office, bringing together the children of 2M colleagues and those of our partners from across the chemical industry.
Led by Dr Maggie Kessler OBE, Co-Owner of 2M, this year’s programme featured a series of engaging, hands-on scientific activities delivered by 2M’s dedicated STEM Ambassadors.
As a cornerstone of our wider STEM outreach work, Kids’ Science Day reflects 2M’s commitment to inspiring the next generation and helping young people understand the opportunities available within scientific and technical careers.
Through fun experiments and interactive learning, children explore the role science plays in everyday life and discover how it shapes the world around them.
Dr Maggie Kessler OBE is a passionate advocate for broadening access to careers in the chemical industry and for supporting the development of future scientists.
Kids’ Science Day has consistently helped challenge gender stereotypes and promote diversity in STEM by giving children early exposure to the wide variety of roles available within the scientific workplace.
A big thank you to Dr Maggie Kessler OBE and to the wonderful, dedicated 2M
STEM Ambassadors who made this year’s Science Day truly special.
