Nominated for CSR Award at Chemicals Northwest Awards 2026 _ The 2M Group of Companies

We’re pleased to share the fantastic news that The 2M Group of Companies has been officially nominated for the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award at the Chemicals Northwest Awards 2026, following the submission.

This nomination is a brilliant recognition of the meaningful sustainability, education, and community impact work taking place across the business, and highlights the dedication and commitment shown by teams throughout the business.

The CSR Award submission focuses on the outstanding STEM outreach work led by Dr Maggie Kessler OBE, Mark Johnson-Treherne, Amy McLoughlin and the HR team, alongside the continued efforts of our STEM Ambassadors. This includes activity delivered through Molecule2Market™ and other key events supporting local communities.

The 2M Group of Companies outreach spans schools, colleges, and universities nationwide, delivering engaging talks on careers in science and the wider STEM sector. Sessions feature live demonstrations that bring the curriculum to life through real industrial examples, helping students link classroom learning to practical applications. The Group also works with universities on real-world project scenarios, provides tailored careers advice, and champions the message that STEM careers are open to everyone, regardless of background. To date, 2M Group has engaged around 2,500 students across the country.

The nomination reflects The 2M Group of Companies strong commitment to community support and education, and recognises the positive impact beingmade through engagement with schools, young people, and wider community initiatives.
